What is a Sidekick, exactly?
A managed AI assistant that runs 24/7 on its own private server. It remembers your business, talks to your customers on Telegram/Slack/email, and actually does work — sending replies, booking calls, posting content, building pages — while you sleep. Not a chatbot. Closer to a teammate.
How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude?
Those are stateless tools you have to drive every time — paste context, ask a question, copy the answer somewhere useful. Your Sidekick has its own server, persistent memory, and direct access to your inbox/calendar/chat apps. It remembers you across sessions, and it acts on its own without you in the loop.
What's Hermes?
Hermes is the open-source agent runtime built by Nous Research that powers your Sidekick. It's the engine — the thing that actually thinks, calls tools, and reads memory. Most agent traffic on OpenRouter now goes through Hermes; it's quietly become the standard. We don't lock you in: it's open source, you can audit it, and your data lives on your own server alongside the runtime.
Where does my data live? Who can see my conversations?
On a dedicated Hetzner VPS we provision for you (EU or US — your choice). All memory, chat history, connected-account tokens, and browser sessions stay on that box. We have admin access for support and updates, but your data is never shared with anyone, never used for training, never sold.
Which AI models can I use?
All of them — OpenAI, Anthropic (including Claude Opus), Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Meta Llama, Groq. You can switch per-message in the dashboard composer. If you connect your own ChatGPT subscription, chat uses that instead, with no extra credit cost.
What channels and integrations work?

How does billing work?
$29/mo (launch price — normally $39). You get $5 of AI credits to start. Top up pay-as-you-go from the dashboard whenever you need more — flat 10% margin on top of provider rates, no per-call markups, no surprise bills.
What if I'm not technical? Can I use this?
Yes. If you can send a text message, you can use a Sidekick. The setup is a 30-second quiz about your business, and after that you talk to it via Telegram, Slack, or the dashboard. No code, no servers to manage — we handle all of that.
Can I bring my own API keys?
Custom-tier customers can — talk to us. On Starter you use our shared OpenRouter pool with per-customer budget caps, which keeps pricing simple and gets you volume discounts that mostly cancel out the 10% margin. ChatGPT subscription pass-through is free on every tier.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the billing page or by emailing us. You get a 7-day window after cancellation to export anything important before the server is wiped.
